After you review all the application, please give the group your comments on how the awards should be awarded.

I think we should award both applicants the amount of $500.00. Our bank accounts have sufficient funds to pay for these scholarships. Our Scholarship awards has a cap of $500.00 per applicant. I think our committee should review and propose a modification to allow the committee to award more given specific circumstances. The guidelines can only be changed at our annual meeting. I would like to hear others comments pro and con on this idea. I also think we should make one last scholarship appeal in the next thirty days to the family to allow anyone who was not able to give during our registration period to play catch up on their giving.

We have three persons who have not completed a review. Anthony Shurn responded and ask to be excused. The others have committed to complete the review. When that is complete, I will review your comments and decide if we can do this via this blog space or do we need a conference call.

I support the suggested award amount of $500 for each of our applicants.
