Greetings Family,

Shurn Forever! We are excited to announce that the 2023 Shurn Family Reunion will be held in Chicago, Illinois from August 25th to August 27th, 2022. The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotels in Downers Grove will be our reunion hotel. The address is 2111 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, IL

We have been eagerly awaiting the chance to come together as a family and celebrate our heritage and culture. The Chicago Chapter has been working hard to make this an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to see all of you there.

Registration is now OPEN for dues! We encourage you to register early, the process is quick and easy, and we don't want anyone to miss out on having a great time in Summertime Chicago!

​Trip to Navy Pier on Saturday:

Join the family for a day in the city at Navy Pier. Shuttle bus will be provided to get you to the city and back. The committee will need a final headcount for those who want to take this trip. Transportation for the day will be $25. Please purchase your ticket by June 17 so that we have an accurate number for those planning on going. 
​Things to Do Around the Hotel:
  • Explore the Oak Brook Center: Oak Brook Center is a premier outdoor shopping center with over 160 stores and restaurants.
  • Visit the Graue Mill and Museum: The Graue Mill is a historic gristmill built in 1852, and the museum showcases the history of the mill and the surrounding area.
