The Shurn Family Student Scholarship/Grant program, purpose is to provide financial help to our college family members. We as a family want to both encourage our young adults to finish high school and go to college. The funding of this scholarship/grant is 100% all volunteer contributions from family members. The awards are from the entire family; our giving is giving as one.
You may contribute to this fund on-line through our secure Pay-Pal/Credit Card web site, you may also pay by mail. This fund is managed by the policy and guidelines which were adopted at the Shurn family 2007 Detroit reunion, additional changes from the sub committee were presented and approved the Chicago 2008 reunion. Applications are opened after Labor Day remain open until first week of November. Awards are announced first week of December.

Contributions are accepted at any time, you may send funds with your reunion dues, there is a line on the registration form for contributions to the Education Grant. If you would like to contribute by mail please make all checks out to the Shurn Family Education Fund # 9744. Send all checks to Arthur Shurn 1158 Northampton street, Holyoke, MA 01040-1325. You will be sent a receipt of your contribution within one week after it is received. We will also accept on-line pledges. Complete the online pay by mail form and select the pledge date you will send the check. Email pledges may be sent to [email protected] and you will be sent a reminder one week before the pledge date.
