Shurn Reunion 2022 - Detroit - Southfield Michigan
Shurn 2022 Reunion Welcome
Registration Friday September 2, 2022
Greetings Family,
Say it loud, “We’re Black, and We’re Proud.” Yes, the Detroit Chapter is proud to host the “2022” Shurn Family Reunion. Since it is our 70th year, what better way to celebrate than with a 70’s old school theme. This year’s theme is “A Stone Soul Reunion.” We are soul excited because this reunion will take us back to a fun time. It is going to be a weekend of music, games, prizes, and memories that have sustained us for 70 years. When Marvin Gaye asks, “What’s going on?”, Detroit is here to tell you. The answer is family! Fun! Fellowship!
Due to COVID, and our concern for the safety of all our family members, we have scheduled a day of fun
on Saturday and a fabulous Family Picnic on Sunday, September 4th. With that being said, we are blowing the dust off the LP’s and 45 records and dancing to the music (Right on!). So, blow out your afros, wear your bell-bottom pants, tent dresses, dashikis, fishnets stockings, and hot pants.
Let’s take a stroll down memory lane as we do the Temptation walk. Please take Johnnie Taylor’s advice and save your last $2.00 for the Shurn 2022 Reunion. We want to bring old memories and turn them into fun, new memories for everyone. The Detroit Chapter can’t wait to see you on registration day,
Friday, September 2nd, but until then, we wish you...
Love, Peace, and Soul
