Ronnie is a very impressive young man who has a clear direction, where he wants to go with his life. His extra-curricular includes a broad range of activities from music, sports, academic and International travel is evidence he is a well-rounded person. His essay demonstrates he has a strong commitment to his family. He has an appreciation for what his Mother is sacrificing to help him help himself and he wants to make her proud. This young man has been preparing himself for college long before he entered high school. He is clearly focused with specific goals set for himself. Without reservation I support allocating the maximum allowable scholarship amount to Ronnie.

As the parent of a recent Hampton University graduate and past SFR scholarship recipient, I am excited for Ronnie's academic progress and the fact that he is also majoring in Marketing. Also as a single parent, I applaud the fact that he recognizes the sacrifices of his mom and has applied for the SFR scholarship to offset incidentals and other academic pursuits. Essay was well thought out and I support the maximum scholarship award.

I have the pleasure of knowing Ronnie personally via his attending the family reunion gatherings.Ronnie loves his family.
I spoke to his mom several years ago to encourage her to push him. I see growth where he will be able to help his family and his race plus humanity in general.
I fully endorse giving the Family Scholarship I believe we will look back one day and realize we put Ronnie where he is sitting
